At Highline Beta, I led product, research and design on teams of scrappy entrepreneurs, industry experts and corporate innovators to turn twelve different ideas into viable businesses.

The goal wasn’t to “build and ship” for the sake of it but to discover the truth, uncover real user pain points, and ensure the market was compelling and strategic. There were no fixed timelines or guaranteed outcomes.

  • Kopa is a Toronto-based venture aiming to help Airbnb fulfill its original mission: to create a world where everyone can belong anywhere.

    I worked with a major property developer to test an idea to improve condo living and make housing more affordable in big cities. I helped design, sell and pilot a three-sided marketplace with early adopters.

  • Relay is a platform that speeds up collaboration on insurance proposals between multiple companies, helping them lower the risk of financial loss.

    I worked with American Family Insurance to challenge traditional industry practices. I helped design, sell, and test the early version of Relay with their customers.

    In 2020, Relay closed a $3M seed round, and officially released their offering to the public. In 2022, Relay was acquired.

  • Female Funders is an online platform dedicated to educating and empowering women to become angel investors.

    I led product and design on Female Funders team to help them pilot the learning experience for their first Angel Academy cohort.

  • Mydoh is a money app that helps parents teach kids about earning, saving, and spending with chore tracking and a prepaid card.

    I worked with RBC Ventures to design and test the early version of Mydoh with early adopters.

  • Houseful (formerly OJO Home) helps people to find the right home by giving them personalized information and advice based on their preferences and finances.

    I worked with RBC Ventures to design the early version of OJO Home for Canada.
